This stile adopts the highly controversial approach of going for the one step, but it is at a good height so as not to hamper navigation too adversely, however it best not to navigate this after that well-earned brake in a country pub and a few ciders.

Great stiles, like great cities and civilisations are built on solid foundations, but the lack of foundation has lead to a reliance on the gate for support (hence the chain), as much as this almost does deserve marks for pure audacity, there is no escaping the overall slapdash approach and poor workmanship. A strong wind, and this stile will be vlnerable.
