Opting for the contemporary design of incorporating a dog gate, this specimen certainly delivers the basics while demonstrating an interesting and effective example of improvisation. Though it has just the single step and two bars (instead of the industry standard two and three respectively), the two planks used for the step add comfort and stability. While just going for the two bars instead of the three may upset the purists, it admittedly puts less emphasis on the need for the second step, and so navigation of this stile is a simple and pleasant experience.
