Near Sturry, Kent – 5/10

We most certainly have an unorthodox approach here, with just the one step which is then used as the means of climbing the metal railings which I suspect have been a fixture here for a long time. However, that said, despite it not being aesthetically pleasing this stile does its job effectively with the one step being very solid and at a nice height for navigation over the bars. This is however not an approach that should be encouraged!
