This extremely egregious and languid effort is a three-pronged attack on the great stile tradition; it is hideous to look at, difficult to navigate and a demonstration of extreme laziness. The disgusting icing on the cake that has well and truly gone off is the ridiculous attempt to ‘cover’ the barbed wire and the fact that they do not even fit! This almost seems like a deeply cynical and intentional move on behalf of the land owner, and yet another demonstration of their extreme reluctance to maintain public rights of way on their land. An absolute detritus!
