Yet another example of a very mediocre initial offering that is then further let down by the landowner’s shocking complacency of just assuming that both the stile and the immediate surrounding area can then be forgotten about. This is yet another indication that these landowners are doing what they can to deter the general public from exercising their legitimate right to use public rights of way. The stile itself is just about functional, with the single step used demonstrating further laziness from the designer, but thankfully the difference between the step and top bar are not too severe, so navigation is by no means comfortable, but just about manageable. However, further marks have to be deducted for the poor upkeep of the vicinity of the stile, making just getting to it unnecessarily treacherous!
