Though due to the controversial materials used, this stile may certainly not please the purists or be aesthetically pleasing, but not only does it allow the stile to be physically stable, but its design is more than adequate. Likewise, there is a practical element to the materials used, as they are likely to last longer than wood. A major positive is the cross-step design, as this allows for easy navigation, however one rather major negative is the unnecessary top bar, which does add difficulty for those with shorter legs.
