Near Lenham Heath, Kent – 5/10

A very minimal and inconsistent offering this one, with just the single solitary step that is not at the most convenient of heights in relation to the single bar, which poses a particular challenge for those with shorter legs. This is a shame, as the wood used is very solid, while the overall structure of the stile is appropriately firm. The attempts to hide the barbed wire with extra pieces of wood is also surprisingly effective, with the rounded wood used being an especially pleasing addition. There has certainly been a decent level of effort made in some parts of the stile, but this is then sadly let down by a total lack of effort in other areas.
