The total indolence of just having the (admittedly quite stable) single step is the least of the issues for this very substandard stile; the loose wiring is ready and primed to catch out the unaware, which is bad enough, but also hanging on for dear life with just the already extremely loose wiring for support is one of the most pathetic attempts at a wooden bar that I have ever come across. Navigation of this stile is a truly treacherous experience and the landowner should be truly ashamed of themselves. Stiles of course exist to allow the good honest public to exercise their right to roam, and it seems quite clear that this stile is an egregious attempt from the landowner to stop us all using that right on their particular bit of land.
