The fact that this stile forms part of the overall structure of the fence is a very innovative and effective approach, as it not only helps to make it structurally sound, but it also also makes it aesthetically pleasing. The wood used also helps, which is solid and put together very well. The main let down of this stile is however the same glaring error that made so often; the lack of that pivotal second step. In this case navigation is still relatively hazard free, with the single step at a good height in relation to the bars, while the two posts on either side are not only a good height, but also solid and of a smooth finish, making them a very useful accessory to hold onto during navigation. However, if there were a second additional step at the opposite angle of the existing step, it would make for a seamless and smooth experience.
