Very minimal effort has been used here; the very basic frame used for the stile is just about forgivable, but the pathetic and solitary step not so much. Not only is the step woefully small and barely has enough room for one foot on each side, it also has a few chunks missing (which is ominous for potential future wear and tear) and just to add insult to injury it is perilously low in relation to the top bar – in fact this may not add insult to injury, but potentially quite literally add an additional injury for those with smaller legs! With navigation less than simple, there is an inevitable enhanced reliance on the posts for balance – but watch out for that barbed wire!
Near Seaton, Kent – 4/10
