Near St. Mary’s Bay, Devon – 7/10

Once again, we all have to just bow down to the mavericks of the English Riviera and how they are not afraid to defy convention and provide us all with a stile that has been put together solely with its surroundings in mind. It is certainly without question how solid the materials used are, which only induces confidence when navigating the stile – making its simplicity both equally pleasurable and rewarding.

While the ‘steps’ may certainly not be the steps that we would usually attribute to a stile, there are two here that are easy to navigate with plenty to hold onto. So, while this stile may admittedly not please the purists, there is no denying that its effectiveness and unique structure reap great rewards.
