Near Seaton, Kent – 3/10

Whoever constructed this stile must have just used the very last materials they had left, as it is an unsightly and inconsistent mess put together with a truly random selection of pieces of wood; The long and thin horizontal beams induce some feelings of serious nervousness as they look like the weight of a leaf landing on them may prove too much!

The step itself is woefully low and thin, rendering it rather pointless as an actual ‘step’, and the fact that the ‘step’ is of minimal width means keeping balance on it is less than easy, especially as there is only the long pole to hang on to, as the other pole is almost entirely covered by a bush. This stile certainly proves to be an extremely unnecessary challenge to navigate.
