Near Harefield, Hillingdon – 5/10

An extremely basic and minimal design here which once again suggests the landowner used as few parts and as little effort as they could get away with. While we all of course would like to a see two steps at opposite, diagonal angels, that is merely a pipe dream and those of us that like to exercise our right to roam have to just accept these painfully minimal designs.

Minimal it certainly is, but it is admittedly functional (by the skin of its teeth!); the overall structure is reasonably solid, and the solitary step and bars are at decent height in relation one-another, so navigation is at least reasonably simple.
