Near Allington, Kent – 6/10

Compared to its rather unattractive (and previously reviewed) relative on the other side of the railway line, this offering does at least feel more like a traditional stile in terms of design, while also serving as an effective barrier from the obvious hazards and dangers presented by a railway line.

The structure itself is solid, and while it is always disappointing that there is just the solitary step (especially as it is at a diagonal angle) but the step is at a decent height in relation to the highest bar as well as being quite sturdy, and there is plenty to hold onto to aid navigation that is sufficiently solid and sturdy enough to induce an appropriate feeling of confidence during navigation.
